Last season I thought he would get much more run than he did . It’s sounds like from practice reports he just won’t. Go down and is breaking tackle after tackle. While he’s not the home run threat like Sawchuck, he can really break down a defense early. Lots of people forget he was the number one Juco back in the country when he committed to us . The last number one Juco back was Demondre Stevenson…. They are very similar with Tawee having bigger legs than Samaje Perine . He also catches the ball very well out of backfield and takes out blitzing backers in pass protect.
It’s going to be hard to keep Major Barnes Sawchuck happy getting carried because all four backs are elite imo. With Hicks coming on we should have a very healthy backfield this year .
