The FWAA (football writers assoc of America) put out their 75th anniversary team. OU was tied for 3rd with 4 players. Nebraska with 6, Ohio St and Pitt with 5, OU, Bama, and texass with 4.
Keith Jackson made the starting TE, Lee Roy Selmon starting DT, Boz 2nd team LB, and Roy Williams 3rd team S.
The only one I can really argue is Archie Griffin being the starting RB. He should not have won the Heisman 2x, as his stats the 2nd winning year were not great. 1975 he had 1450 yd, 5.5 ypc, and 4 TDs. Ricky Bell or Tony Dorsett should have won it that year. He basically won it in a lifetime achievement thing imo.
