No, it's not an April Fools joke.
Sophomore shooting guard Frank Booker announced his decision to transfer this morning. After coming off the bench to average 10 points a game in OU's first two NCAA tourney games, Booker went 0-for-4 and scoreless in the Sooners' Sweet 16 loss to Michigan State.
"I had a great experience here," Booker said. "I appreciate Coach Kruger giving me the opportunity to come play basketball at OU. I've grown a lot since I've been here. It was a hard decision, but it simply came down to the opportunity to return closer to home and to get more playing time."
