Dax Hill

We should probably re-visit this list after the opening day rosters are announced.

Bama, official and unofficial visits
Mich official and unofficial visits
tOSU Official visit
OkieLite, multiple unofficial visits
OU, no visits. Did he even come to Junior day?

Odds

Bama 50%
Mich 35%
Okielite/OU 15%

Does anyone know if we have done an in home?

Just because his brother bought the poke line doesn't mean squat; flip him and get both on nat signing day !

You're going to try and flip Justice Hill on signing day? I think he's pretty solid on OSU. We'll see about Dax though...

I forgot about Gerald being a 5 star. Evans and Alexander played safety in high school too.

True, though all of these players have contracts as of April 28, 2018.
Only 2 players out of the 35 are/were free agents and both are RBs, DeMarco Murray and Adrian Peterson.

Of the top rated players, a little more info for "star power."

Geneo Grissom - 3 best player in Kansas, 13th best DE in nation
Jordan Phillips - best player in Kansas, 4th best DT in nation
Tony Jefferson - 10th best player in California, 4th best safety in nation
David King - 16th best DE in nation
Stacey McGee - 2nd best player in Oklahoma, 8th best DT in nation
Corey Nelson - 12th best LB in nation

Phillips, Jefferson and McGee were pretty highly rated IMO. I thought Corey Nelson was ranked even higher than that, because I recall a lot of noise about his commitment, but I guess we were just so starved at LB that he seemed like the second coming.

Devante Bond LB (3-star)
Aaron Colvin CB (3-star)
Jordan Evans LB (3-star)
Geneo Grissom DL (4-star)
Demontre Hurst DB (4-star)
Tony Jefferson DB (4-star)
David King DE (4-star)

Stacy McGee DT (4-star)
Corey Nelson LB (4-star)
Jordan Phillips DT (4-star)
Zack Sanchez DB (3-star)
Charles Tapper DE (3-star)
Ahmad Thomas LB (3-star)
This is some good talent, therefore the high scores by so many opponents becomes even more unacceptable.

Relax dig; I only meant that the majority of whatever the kids 'promise' today don't mean jack until the forms have been signed on whatever day is 'officially binding'

I was speaking sarcastically because of the fact that Justice Hill is locked in because he's been a OSU for two years already.

Odds are he is Michigan bound. His father has connections to Michigan. I think his kid and his family have been playing OU since the beginning.

Rivals only has ranking data back to 2003.

It’s a shame to lose grip on this seemingly good kid’s recruiting. Other big fish are out there and plentiful, so if feelings are he is out of reach, start landing the big tunas. Defense needs to be our priority...and nasty tempered skilled linebackers (like Striker) in particular.
