Baylor coach on sidelines during TU game

I struggle to believe Briles. I'm being told that he had no knowlege of his daughter and grand baby being in Norman? Nope. I don't believe this. And yes, he indeed can 'learn' things. As he can hear and see firsthand what players are saying coming off the field etc. I doubt that anything will happen but there is no denying that there was an advantage recv'd for his attendance on the sidelines. It's also very widely considered taboo amongst the coaching fraternities throughout the country. Further, he is also listed as Baylor's recruiting co-ordinator. And if it was so innocent as to him wanting his wife to see and feel the Norman game day experieince, why didn't he just go to the OU dept to get his passes? Where there's smoke, there's fire. Again, nothing will happen, but this Baylor team is dirty.

WNAS, I suppose it could be a case of great coaching minds plotting to over-throw the Sooners. But Baylor already owns Oklahoma. Nothing more to gain and I doubt Briles is afraid of OU.

Except in a few select cases in CFB, I think you are giving these guys too much credit for being geniuses, able to plot such elaborate, sinister plans. I personally don't think they are that intelligent.

A pretty good poster wrote these words that show faith in the general goodness of mankind.

To each their own. But if your view of the world is thug life on a daily basis, you unfortunately have a skewed view.

I think it applies here too. I doubt Briles had anything to do with it. Heck, my boy's families take trips all the time and don't feel the need to check in with Dad first. But we're all entitled to our opinions.

Yep, and the Patriots don't cheat either. My point about Briles knowing is this... He works for Briles on a daily basis. He's also Brile's son in law. He's also the recruiting co-ordinator. I don't think for a moment that Briles, like Stoops does not know where is recruiting co-ordinator is on the weekends. But you're right, everyone is entitlted to their own opinions and I'm of the opinion that if I worked on a daily basis with my daughter's husband and the father of my grandkid, I'd be more in tuned to what is going on in their daily lives. But that's me.

I think Briles was up to no good. He sees the Sooners offense has changed a lot, and sees that as a possible problem when the Sooners play in Waco. This guy is sketchy...getting away with shady things and claiming ignorance. Yes he knows what was going on.
