My fun, enjoyable aversion from the stresses of real life has been ruined! College football, and OU football in particular, are no longer fun to follow. Even access to message boards like this one have lost their appeal.
I've NEVER enjoyed the NFL as much as college football... not until now. However, that has changed! At least, the NFL has rules to help ensure some level of fairness.
College football has been ruined by a lack of leadership and the lawless pursuit of greed. The lack of regulation for NIL and the "no common sense" handling of the transfer portal have been it's undoing!
JMHO, I don't think a necessary level of order will ever be restored! As they say, "Once the cows are out of the barn, it's too late!"
