If anyone was doubting just how weak the B12 is viewed, just a take a look at this poll and check out the one loss teams that are above Baylor and West Virginia. OU is tops in the B12 at #14. Our conference isn't going to even get a sniff of playoff consideration most likely. Four 2 loss teams above OU.
That should be expected when you lose to a team that then loses to SMU and you get manhandled at home... giving up
854 YARDS AND 59 POINTS doesn't help either...
The only ranking for the CFP that will matter is the final one... if Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, and Washington all win out, they will be the final four teams. If not, then there's no reason to have a playoff...
E$PN is already hard at work, pushing for two SEC teams, to make the playoffs!
Giving up so much on defense to TTech will no doubt hurt OU over the rest of this year in rankings. Not sure why anyone would rank a team much higher than were OU is right now when OU has a defense that is so god awful.
I cringe at the thought of a legit football team OU may play in a bowl game and how much misery they will inflict on OUs "swiss cheese" secondary...
