I know a lot of far more football knowledgeable folks roll their eyes when this comes up, so call me old-fashioned or close-minded, but a little part of me dies on the inside every time I watch the ball being run out of the shotgun. Don't get me wrong, I'm otherwise enamored with what Riley brings to the table and loved the adaptability last night. But the "You can run effectively in the Air Raid" crowd seems to cite Holgerson regularly. I recall Tavon Austin torching us out of the pistol mostly.
I know it can work with the right personnel, but what was right for Q isn't necessarily designed for Samaje. Destruction of faulty logic here only serves to increase my optimism, so have at it.
