@Carey Murdock correct me if I am wrong, but the back channels can now be closed and the SEC can officially invite the two teams into the conference. Should our next focus be on a timeline for an SEC vote? Do you, Carey, have any insight as to when the vote will happen? What comes first, the vote or a definitive end date for conference affiliation? What about the timing of all of this? Was there some sort of deadline today that needed to be met in order to declare the intention to leave? I mean why make an announcement so far out from the end of the contract. Seems like OU knows that this will not be a drawn out process. I would be pretty shocked if this all came together over the course of the next year. I would also be shocked if we were still playing big 12 games in the 23 season. Anywho Thanks Carey, This is why we pay you the big bucks, well i mean some of us do.
