Alabama vs Georgia

Ballsy move. Pulling his starting QB for a freshman QB that hadn't played all season. Incredible call and it paid off.

Yes very balsy and it ignighted the team. It totally changed the Bama offense while the UGA offense went into kind of a shell in it's play calling. Man that has to hurt for UGA fans because thats exactly what our offense did in the second half by getting away from the aggressive play calling. That OT pass by Alabama after the sack was a gutsy call because if it falls incomplete Alabama may have been in serious trouble with that kicker of theirs.

Bama went aggressive on that call and man was it a thing of beauty. Just wish OU had done the same in that first OT vs. UGA in being aggressive and trying to end the game in that first OT. What could have been now we will never know but I am betting that Baker would have shredded that Bama secondary and not miss wide open receivers like Fromm was doing.

Hurts has only lost 2 games for Saban, but he could have been the Heisman winner and Nick would still have pulled him. Saban doesn’t let personal likes and relationships get in the way of winning. Players nor coaches. Some dislike that about him. Wouldn’t had bothered me had Bob been that way and if he had I bet he would won more than one natty.

Agree.
Love him or hate him, Saban knows what it takes to maintain an elite program like no one ever has.

Saban is a better Business Man, and College Football IS Business...BIG Business...

Looking back at the Stoop's Years, many of his questionable decisions were colored by his Loyalties...Bo...Josh...BV...MS. He waited too long to cut them loose. He wasn't able to do that until the Program was in distress...Thus the Rebuilding took much longer...

Bob could have been Nick Saban. He had it going early on and just as you say, he didn’t protect it.

It's not so much a question of how good or overrated or top-heavy the SEC is anymore.
I think it is....or should be....how all other coaches should try to copy Saban's blueprint.
Don't like Saban ? Then beat Saban. And beat him by copying him.

Am I the only one that loved it that UGA lost to Bama in a very similar fashion in which we lost to them? Blowing a significant lead to lose in over time? I laughed my ass off.

I wanted UGA to win but I think that fan base now realizes that they lost the same way OU lost to them. You would have thought Smart and company would have learned from OUs mistake.

Play conservative in 2nd half and go into that " play not to lose mode" is costly. Give Bama credit but the offense did not help the defense in that second half. Sounds famaliar doesnt it.

I watched a few series in 1st half and a few plays at the end. I saw at least 2 if not more where the bama guys clearly committed blatant PFs (if not felonies) that drew no calls. I have to think the fix was in
