1. Baker Mayfield is a real player. 20 for 28 despite being under constant pressure with an average receiving core with no deep threat and no run game. He kept us in the game. I heard all summer how bad ass Jarvis Baxter and DeDe Westbrook were. Like most of the team,they are average. Baxter had a critical drop early in the first quarter that would have been a first down and DeDe fell down on a slant that would have been an easy touchdown.
2. Charlie Strong stays. He is a good coach but it would be deflating for OU fans if TX hired an offensive coach like a chip kelly, tom hermann, or Chad morris.
