I just finished listening to the postgame pod and was kind of shocked by the amount of overreaction.
I feel like our reactions are based on our expectations. So when we lose a game in which we played bad and the other team played extremely well (both can be true), we tend to react based on those previous expectations.
Listening to last week’s postgame pod, it sounded as if we had fairly high expectations. Then this week, I’m sure Eddie was joking with “Kansas might be better than this team”.
Good teams can play bad, and things can still be trending up after a loss.
Okay delete me now.
