Recruiting LIVE: Watching Sooners’ commits in Rivals100 safety Omarion Robinson and 3-star Owen Hollenbeck

Rivals100 DB Omarion Robinson with the biggest play of the game with a huge catch to get Parkview’s scoring drive going.

He was later called for a phantom PI where Robinson jumped the route and somehow the WR going through him was a PI. All media on hand got a kick out of that.

12-6 Parkview with 2 min left in first half.

The old saying.. The best improvement in a team can be found from game 1 to game 2. Lawd please let this be true.

I am thankful we didn't draw a N.C State or Louisville or Arizona type for a opening game or a not so great team with decent d-line. I re-watched again and I will fall back on my fathers old saying when it comes to the Sooners. OU has had countless not so great opening games. I think J.A will be fine.. We do have a deep WR room and Hester if he wants to see the field.. soften those damn hands.. I remember when Thompson committed to Texas.. A national 150 kid.. Many teams had him up there pretty high due to his speed. I sure would love to see a whorn play his ass off into the NFL draft. Lets see what happens in practice this week and ths D needs to hold Houston to less than 100 yards and make a statement.

Can you feel it?

Sooner football is taking a step, big step in being who they are. It may be 2025 to get to the prize, but this team is a proud team. They thrive on everyone saying they are just mediocre in this unbeatable conference. They will take down most of the sec. Next year the SEC will find out the Sooners don’t give a s*it what conference they are in. Boomer

Football Zac Alley gets the game ball as OU's defense dominates Temple

Yes it's just Temple. But yesterday was a clear sign that Zac Alley — who called the plays on defense — is going to be a natural fit in Norman.

Takeaways from the Temple Game.

Yes I know this is Temple but here are some takeaways I had after the game.

Sawchuk still looks hesitant at times, Taylor Tatum as advertised looked great along with Barnes. Sam Franklin looked good as well. I feel real good about the rb room. Oline was a bit underwhelming, although litrell should've ran the ball more. I feel as if we had better success running outside off tackle than inside, much of that has to do with Temple stacking the box. Defense was great no complaints obviously. Linebackers all looked great. Now I know its temple but Markus Strong is HUGE and deserves some more playing time. Dude came in there like a wrecking ball, hopefully he gets more playing time. JFA looked good I believe the offense that we ran was extremely vanilla, obv don't want to show a whole lot until the Tennessee game. Would love to hear your feedback. BOOMER.
