Defense has given up 6 of 8 4th down attempts across the last 2 games. Multiple of them 10+ yards. Hard to win football games when opponents don't have to respect you enough to punt.

I think the following moves would be natural fits:
DU from MLB to DE (we lack pass rushers and he can naturally hold 260 pretty easily)
Stutsman from WLB to MLB (This allows Kanak to play a more natural position)
Kanak from MLB or Cheetah to WLB (His speed is perfect for weakside)
Key from Safety to Cheetah (He's a physical in the box safety with speed and coverage skills, could easily add 5-10 lbs and get to 220 if needed)

Simple as that. DL is weak at the point of attack and the interior DL is comically bad. Hopefully portal season brings us some beef because diamond in the rough season hasn’t worked for OU in over a decade. Boomer.

On defense we have a bunch of guys that got by on athletic talent and didn’t listen to their coaches when they were teaching fundamentals. Outside containment, not letting your opponent get leverage. I hope Brent can turn it around…

Even when we have the perfect call, we get lazy and stupid. Then instead of getting off the field we're selfish and get pissed and rip the helmet off of a guy that blocks us too long. We need a D that doesn't continue to help the other team beat them. We may win this game, but this sh!t drives me crazy. Let's find some guys that don't play lazy and have a high football IQ. DAMN
