I just feel like this season is one of the biggest ones in a long time. I honestly feel we go 10-2 and our recruiting takes off like we’ve never seen it. The flip side is we could go 6-6 (not likely, but could) and recruits start to jump. BV wouldn’t get fired but it would start the questions. It just feels like this season has so much riding on it.

Like I said I think we go 10-2 or 9-3. The 3 games I think we win that everyone (National media) has us as loss is Tenn, Mizz, and LSU. First off with Tenn, Nico is getting all this praise and he’s going to come into our stadium on his first SEC road game and get a win? GTFO. That stadium will be nuts that night for our first SEC game, probably Gameday will be there. We will surprise a lot of people in that game and win by 10.

As for Mizz, OU has never and never will be scared of freaking Missouri. Dorkowitz goes back to reality.


LSU has zero defense (feels weird writing that) they’ve always been good on D but not now. Their DL is terrible and very thin. We play them in the last game of the season and that DL will be beat up by then and we run all over them in Death Valley. Boomer!

Brandon and I have been collaborating with a bunch of information that we've collected from various sources on the first couple days of practice. Brandon is going to post it all, hopefully in the next few hours if all goes according to plan. New pod coming this afternoon as well.

Today was just a walk-through for the team, so nothing to really glean from what went on this morning.

For the moment, I'm told scrimmages are set for next Saturday (8/10) and the following Wednesday (8/14).

Can we expect a write up about week 1 of Fall camp? Also wondering when we'll get official weights. Kipe Lewis looks great from a pic I saw on twitter.

@Brandon Drumm I heard somebody mention on a YouTube video that Dasan injured his foot and may miss the first few games. Am I just out of the loop or maybe have forgotten this? Is it true? The guy said he injured his foot. I know about the injuries last season. Is there something new?

The O-line is an understandable question mark, but Venables believes the Sooners have good answers.

I don’t want to minimize this get for the Sooners either. He is worthy of excitement and worthy of being lauded as a HUGE get for the Sooners.

He is announcing via his IG today at 4pm so stay tuned for that. Should be between OU, Oregon and Arkansas.
