We start out just after 10pm Thursday night

First chatter starts out with officer reporting in at the address:

"Apparently they were armed with a gun."

"Suspect left on foot. Apparently (the victims) do know the suspect. The suspect left on foot but he knows they drive a new white Lexus. Possibly headed toward this vehicle."

SORRY ED ESKRIDGE!!!

Now officers are working to get a description of the suspect.

"Wearing a facemask, light skinned, wearing a white hoodie, with fatigues, all black clothing with braids."

Calling in a description of the suspect.

"possibly ball players from OU"

"If he knows the suspect can we get a name?"

"Be advised, he was pistol whipped but he's refusing EMS at this time" talking about the victim.

Officers and dispatch are working to put the car/license plate with a driver.

"We did find a Bridges in our system. A Trejan Bridges. 20 years old. Unknown if it's going to be the same guy or not but it kind of matches."

"We do have an OU officer standing by at the dorms in case they show up there."

Dispatch just gave out the last known address for Bridges and an officer is headed there now to see if they can find Bridges there.

Dispatch asks the officer heading to Bridges' address. Officer replies, "please". So two cops are heading over to see Trejan Bridges now.

The alleged robbery took place at the Crimson Park apartments. How are those apartments holding up these days? Been a while since I've been over there.

It is probably at this point where OU and Lincoln Riley finds out the police are trying to track down one of their players. Norman PD contacts the university for an address on Bridges, but they don't have one.

"I'm sure the athletic department has a current address for the suspect."

OK. So here we are at 10:06pm on a Thursday. The only OU football player brought up so far has been Trejan Bridges. Mainly because they went there in his car. They matched the car up with a name. We know it was a robbery and the victim was pistol whipped and it happened at the Crimson Park apartments. They also have now contacted the athletic department trying to find a known, current address for Trejan Bridges. So you have to think Lincoln Riley has been made aware some bad shit has gone down.

An officer calls in to dispatch with the name Seth McGowan. The officer says that the victim just started looking through the OU football roster and identified McGowan as one of the people who came to his apartment to rob him.

Norman PD reports they have been given a current address for Bridges and are now headed his way.

Officer to dispatch

"I possibly have a second suspect. First name Seth. Last name is McGowan."

"Norman has Bridges in custody. Apparently he's the only one in the vehicle."

"Also some designer shoes were stolen along with a camera."

"What did the designer shoes look like?"

"Did he know the flavor of the marijuana that was stolen? Or anything about it? Packaging? Etc."

As an officer is searching Bridges' car...

"We've got marijuana in the car here called 'Oakland Huff or Puff'."

"One of the possible suspects has an address in Headington. But we are trying to figure out if they want to try to make contact with him via phone or whether we need to go up to his room."

11:27pm Thursday

Police are able verify the last time McGowan swiped in to enter Headington was 8:30pm. So they now do not believe he is in the building.

We're at midnight and officers are still waiting at Headington for McGowan to come back. But that is everything from 9:30pm to 12:00am Thursday night.

Was watching Teddy Lehman with Toby on TV and Teddy stated that Shane was the fastest guy on the team. If thats the case, all I can say is Wow. He wasnt just talking linebackers he said the team.

Dont know if it is true but its something to discuss.

On February 22nd, I engaged Carey through several eformats directly with a thoughtful, detailed list of issues about the content performance of the SoonerScoop site.
On February 23rd, Carey finally responded back to with a short note, saying that he would get back to me with a longer response
On February 24th, I asked Carey where was the followup response.
To his credit later that day, Carey responded back with a thoughtful reply. Indicating that part of his action for scheduling reasons could not happen for another 7 to 10 business days.
Later that day, I responded back to Carey saying that was fine. But I clearly requested a followup message/call from Carey to discuss the larger issues that he attempted to answer in his email. I clearly stated that followup could be scheduled for later but he needed to reply back to me in terms of at the very least scheduling that call.
On March 7th, I again messaged Carey wondering when we would be having a followup discussion. And detailed a complaint about content performance.
It’s now March 23rd, and Carey shows no signs of being able to conduct the most basic customer service interaction with a paying subscriber of over 20 years.
So Carey won’t conduct this discussion professionally in private, he leaves me no choice but to address my issues/concerns to the main customer base.
I used to recommend SoonerScoop to anyone that asked what site to subscribe to, right now I cannot make that recommendation for the first time in 20 years.

Here’s my request for the New SoonerScoop Subscriber Terms of Service.

1. The Scoop article will be published every Friday. If that publication is interrupted, a note will be pinned ideally at least 12 hours in advance. Reminder notices for planned outages such as Holidays will be published earlier during the week.
2. The Chat Post will be posted at a regular time on a regular day. If that day is Tuesday, then the chat questions will all be answered by Thursday noon Central time. If that schedule again needs modification, It can be simply be stated in the Chat Post.
3. The Woklehoma article should follow the same practice as the Scoop.
4. Employee outages/vacations impacting content publication will be communicated in a proper manner. We don’t need to know the whys. Just the impact.
5. Every Monday, Josh and Bob should post a new update “What are working on? Where are we going on?” The first part should detail articles in production with an estimated publication date, the second portion should detail trips to scout games/interview players/going to camps or 7 on 7 tourneys, etc…
6. SoonerScoop site will create an easy way for Subscribers to relay content issues/concerns. Those issues will receive an initial response in 1 business day. Complete followup in 4 business days. Any ongoing discussion will have proper timeline expectations set with subscribers.

So I was watching an episode of the I AM ATHLETE show from several months ago, and we haven’t had a thread title on this topic, greatest ATHLETE of all time. Only criteria is all sports, you can also give your goat from men’s or women’s if you want, but who is number one overall in your books? 2 names stick out to me, Lebron James and Bo Jackson. My personal criteria has less to do with winning and more to do with who do I think could be the greatest high level athlete at any sport.
Now the reason it was interesting or inspired me creating the thread was that they had a woman on there who claims Serena is the greatest athlete, man or woman, ever. Her argument was the 23 individual grand slam titles. I’m not a huge tennis fan but I know Roger (20) Rafa (19) and Jokr (17) all had or have had extended prime careers compared to the norm. Personally, I think tennis is underrated as a sport from an athletic stand point, and Rafa is the goat IMO of tennis, but I wouldn’t have a tennis player in my top 10 of all time athletes.

Women’s Basketball Hall of Famer Sherri Coale:

"Being the head coach at the University of Oklahoma has been the privilege of my lifetime.

"In April of 1996, I accepted this, my dream job. As a native Oklahoman, I was pretty sure I had died and gone to Heaven. Though the task would not be for the faint of heart, I just wanted to build a program that this great state and this storied institution could be proud of. Twenty-five years later, I still cannot believe the ride Oklahoma Women's Basketball has taken me on.

"I arrive here today at the ending of a chapter and the beginning of another, engulfed in gratitude. The thick, goopy kind that comes from the middle of your bones. I am grateful to my family for letting me "pursue my life's passionate obsession" (thank you Wright Thompson), for generously allowing me to take up too much room and for doubling the wins and dividing the losses. Without them, achievement of any kind would fall pretty flat.

"I am grateful to my players for letting me coach them. That's a gift I've never taken lightly and a joy unlike any other I have ever known. I want them to know that they've left pieces of themselves in me and I am better for it.
