Asked BV about Miguel Chavis in Year No. 1 and what it's been like going through the ups and downs and all that good stuff?

"He's very passionate. He's detailed. Cares deeply for his guys. Both as human beings, first and foremost. And as players. He knows that the player is a reflection of him. So if we have fallen short, he's taken it personally, which he should. He loves what he does. If you're going to have a chance to be great at something, you got to love what you do. You got to be passionate about it and everything that it takes. So he's all of those things. He knows that when you're building something, there has to be a sense of urgency and a sense of patience to get the buy in that you want. It's relational piece. It's a motivating piece. You got to challenge your guys on a daily basis. They got to work for a result every day. And so I think he's done a terrific job and where his guys are at today, a year from now there'll be getting in a whole other... they're take a huge step from there they're at right now. I believe that. And I've been really pleased with Miguel. He's the same guy every day. He show up and he's at 10. And he's got great humility and his guys love him for that. He's very open, honest, transparent. But he's tough and demanding."

Who do you hate more?

I hate Texas the most. It's in my DNA as a dirt burglar from birth. They are extremely hate-able in every way. Sanctimonious, superiority complex-having , baby-sh1t soft, tea-sipping, underachieving, spoiled-ass, rich bitch, douchers. The whole "We're Texas!" thing. The fake-ass cowboys in polos and aviators at the Cotton Bowl. The Eyes of Texas. The whole damn thing.

Now A&M? Didn't grow up hating them; they weren't worthy of it really. They were always irrelevant as SWC also-rans. Then they joined the Big XII and we regularly beat their brains out. Never thought of them as any kind of challenger to OU on any level. Always thought the whole Corps and culture mouth-breather thing was weird, but was never on the radar really. Now, they are becoming more relevant to us because of their recruiting BS and the upcoming conference affiliation. Will see and deal with them more and more. Learning I really, really hate them too. They suck on a ton of levels. Jimbo is a dipshit, their NIL game is top of the list at destroying CFB, all their weird-ass customs and chants and cheerleader poses and overalls with patches on them and faux tough-guy horseshit is awful. Just gross in every way.

So I still hate UT the most, but I could see A&M catching up and passing them on the Hate-O-Meter in the near future.
