Kelly Maxwell: The unsung hero of Oklahoma's 6-5 win over Florida

In one of the gutsiest performances you'll ever see, Kelly Maxwell cooled off Florida's red-hot offense in the fourth inning and never looked back.

Gasso explains decision to pitch May: 'I can't keep leaning on' Kelly Maxwell

Patty Gasso gave her thoughts on the decision to sit Kelly Maxwell, while also giving an update on Alynah Torres and explaining the mishap with Kasidi Pickering's base-running in the third inning.

Jayda Coleman's walk off home run sends Sooners to WCWS finals

"I think (that was) one of the better games in College World Series history. A nail-biter. A little bit of everything."

Walk it off, Jaya Coleman!!!!!!

Wow!! What a game, after Maxwell got hit badly in the early innings.

The (relatively) unlikely heroes were Cyndy Sanders (2 run HR), Ella Parker (2 run HR), Avery "Freaking" Hodge (huge 2 out double and scored tying run in bottom of 6th), and Jaya Coleman. And Maxwell hung tough and got better (as usual) as the game went on.

Very, very proud of the girls! Got a really tough match-up against Texas starting tomorrow. Can Maxwell start game 1 after throwing over 150 pitches today?

LIVE GAME THREAD: OU Softball vs. Florida, WCWS Semis

Original start time was 11 a.m. CT, but it's been pushed to 12:36. Hopefully there are no more delays.

Game will be broadcast on ESPN. The Gators beat Alabama 6-4 on Sunday to advance behind a three-run bomb from former Sooner Jocelyn Erickson. Should be a fun reunion.

Sooners need just one win to advance to the champ series. A Florida win would trigger an if-necessary game later today.

Check back her for updates as we get closer to game time.

Any predictions?
