Per a couple sources, this one is swinging in Stanford’s favor following Briehler’s official visit this past weekend. Which is out of left field, but it is what it is. Further updates to come as we try to glean insight on the timeline and whether Briehler will follow through on his OV plans with Ohio State and Oklahoma.

This weekend marked his first-ever visit to Stanford. Sounds as though the Cardinal really did a masterful job.

So thinking about flying back to Oklahoma for the Tennessee game on 9/21. Historic moment - so ticket prices are going to be NUTS I am sure. When I lived in Edmond eons ago, I just scalped them before game. Never had an issue. But got screwed trying that several years ago. So last few times I just used ticketmaster. But man... their add on charges are CRAZY.

Only two of OU's games have an "early" designation, meaning a kickoff time of 11 a.m. or noon.

I will have a recruiting board up after the weekend.

This weekend, Ryan Humphrey is in Wichita checking out some PRO16 action. Porter Moser and Armon Gates are both in Indy for some EYBL action. Clayton Custer is down in Texas for some 3SSB games.

I know you all saw some picks go in on several sites when it comes to fast-rising Sooners’ DT target Floyd Boucard. But what are sources with close relationships saying about the picks to USC, as well as OU's chances? Latest here...

- Twelve out of the thirteen scholarship players are on campus and ready to go as summer workouts and practices begin this week. The exception is Mohamed Wague, who is also the only transfer who has not yet signed his paperwork. Wague has been overseas and will return soon. He has not signed yet because he still has a class to finish.

- Youth camps took place last week, and there were no official practices or workouts. The Sooners had all of their players (except Wague) on campus. With no official practices or workouts, the team played pickup games throughout the week.

- There have already been rave reviews about Jalon Moore during his first week back. One source said, “He came back a different player.” Several sources mentioned how impressive Moore has been, with one saying, “Moore is the Alpha and brings it during runs. He seems very hungry.”

- In the runs, Kobe Elvis and Dayton Forsythe primarily played the point guard position, matching up against each other in every game. Many believe that Elvis was a sneaky good addition.

- Forsythe, Kuol Atak, and Jacolb Cole worked out every day at 5 a.m. last week before youth camp started. The belief is that Forsythe and Atak will be great for each other.

- It isn’t just the three freshmen who have shown an impressive work ethic; the transfers have shown it as well. Many people have mentioned the drive to win that this team has. One source said, “This is a group full of hard workers.” The desire to win has been apparent with this team.

If we have to go to 3 or more pitchers, it could get ugly! I'm not expecting to see Maxwell tonight. We'll see.

I know we aren’t even 24 hours removed from the 4-peat but has anyone heard any credible rumors concerning a possible incoming transfer that could potentially make everyone hate us even more?

Any truth to that she is transferring?
