Who do you think is the best realistic combination of targets for the OU receiver room from the transfer portal at this point? Not sure how many receivers we’re taking (3-4?), but curious to hear your thoughts.
Personally I want:
Sategna - Speedy and versatile, feel like he can fill a similar role to 2023 Andrel Anthony, and has established himself in the SEC
Gibson - Big-bodied and physical, he brings a dominant red-zone presence and excels in contested catches. Has true production, even if at a lower level - Hope he can adjust quickly. Need size after our portal entries.
Splash pickup - I would like to see us get a BIG SPLASH. Maybe someone not in the portal or someone like Duce Robinson (Being super optimistic).
I would be fine with taking 2 receiver commits now and then waiting…There will be plenty of receivers in the portal and there’s no need to rush a fill a spot with a JAG
Edit: Kris Hutson would also be a nice addition - already has production in this scheme and rapport with Mateer/Arbuckle and would be a veteran presence.
