- 2013, and 2014- Most of the key contributors on OU's squad were on hand for those 2 games and remember what it feels like to lose or play poorly in a game we are supposed to win on paper.

- Texas contingent- We have 47 players on our team from Texas, and the starting QB, top running back, and 2nd leading receiver are all from towns within 150 miles of Austin. These guys want to win this game in a huge way, and the other guys on the team tend to follow their lead.

- This isn't the Texas D you are accustomed to- Texas is 113th in scoring D, 119th in total D, and 101st in Sacks. They aren't stopping anybody and they aren't making big plays. For perspective...through the full big 12 schedule, they were 31stt and 25th respectively in total and scoring D.

- Texas O is improved though right?- Not very much. They were 110th in total offense last year...so far...110th. They were 106th in scoring offense last year, and have improved that to 93rd.

- Turnovers can change the game- That's true, but Texas is 2-3 and they are 18th nationally in turnover margin right now. They are routinely winning the turnover battle....and getting their ass kicked.

- Kicking game- OU is 4th in the nation in net punting at nearly 44 yards, 48th in kick return defense (only 20 yards/return) and has made all of it's kick attempts this year. Texas is gaining 39 yards on punts, giving up on average 27 yard kick returns, and we all know their miscues that have cost them in big games.

- Winning tough games begets winning- OU's players have been in tough games that they've had to come back from behind and snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat. They have had a game where a let down cost them a lead and had to turn it back around. This team knows it can win, but also knows it has to play hard for 4 quarters to do that.

- Head Coach- Sorry but he's lost that team. He may be coaching for his life....but he's standing on the ledge thinking happy thoughts wondering what coaching heaven is like. He's done.
Stoops on the other hand came in to see the media and talked about being "VERY ANGRY" with his team over how many penalties they committed in a 20 point win last week against a ranked opponent. One team knows it's good and is trying to get better...the other, doesn't know it's good.

- Players commitment- Joe Mixon sat around Norman last year because he wanted to be part of this team. The knucklehead from Texas is tweeting at halftime against TCU that he's going to transfer. Which program sounds ready for the RRR.

- Schemes- Texas can't stop anybody that can throw it. We can throw it. We can stop teams that don't throw it great....Texas doesn't throw it great. Texas can't get any pressure on the passer. Against Texas OU will be able to go with the Striker/Bond combo most if not the entire day, and Iexpect to see Heard on the ground a LOT. Offensively Mayfield will have time to pick and choose his recievers and will pick Texas apart.

OU 56- Texas 6- The Sooners poor on the points in their cleanest game of the year, and Texas never gets in the endzone. All of you guys predicting doom at every turn...let me have it.
