Sim was the first and only one I saw until the Disney crew came along. Then GC Scott was great as a "Pattonesque" version. The rest are meh
If any of you had been around me during Christmas since 2001, I would probably get your vote as the best Scrooge. None of the actors could ever hold a candle to me. I’m not proud of it, but it is what it is. I have a reason. But I wish all a great Christmas season.
Dude, did somebody piss on your carpet?![]()
I liked this animated version too, as it followed the same storyline as the Alistar Sim 1951 version.Although this one is animated, A Christmas Carol from 2009 it is very good. If you have not seen it here is a trailer. I did not think I would like it back in 2011 when I first saw it but now watch it every Christmas. Jim Carrey stars as Scrooge and it has a good cast of voice actors.

No longer a Jim Carrey fan since he’s become another mean spirited liberal jerk.
It’s the way that “failed political experiment” is adhered to and defended that is mean spirited.....that’s “ a bit harsh” too.Suggesting that an entire failed political experiment is mean-spirited is a bit harsh.
Someone hasn't told Mrs.Trump of this, judging from the way she has the White House decorated. He's not my favorite, but I'm giving it up to Trump as a modern-day Scrooge.![]()

To carry this exchange one more silly post....Mrs. Trump would not be allowed to decorate if Trump were like Scrooge.I don't recall Scrooge's wife being mentioned in the book or movie. Your making up fake news.![]()
