Where will OU fall in the first CFP Poll?

I’m still in favor of expanding playoffs to at least include the Conference Champion from each division, maybe top 2 teams from each division and do away with CCG

The original concept of CCG was about money but also it was suppose to serve as somewhat of a playoff game. However that is no longer the case in regards to serving as a playoff game. When a team can sit at home while not even winning its division and still make the playoffs it destroys the meaning of CCG.

The last time we played LSU in Nawlins, it was the worst fan experience ever for the majority of Sooner fans who went there. LSU fans were despicable. Anybody else is fine. LSU anywhere else is fine. LSU in New Orleans is a horrible experience for a bowl game, which is supposed to be fun.

This. I was there with my wife and teen-aged daughter. Horrible experience.

Yea I heard the horror stories from some people that went. Some fan bases are just ass hats in general. In my experience the worst I have encountered are Texas A&M fans when I went down to a game in College Station back in the mid 90's.

Pretty much the opposite experience for us.
We moved to Houston in 1993 and wnet to College Station every time OU played there.
Never had even one Aggie fan that was out of line.
In my experience, they are so wrapped up in their team, they don't even pay attention to the opponent or the opponent's fans.
Sorry your experience was not as good.

I wish my experience had been like yours but after that one trip I vowed to never make it again.

This is true of CCG in general.
Once the B12 went to 10 teams and was not allowed, under NCAA regulations, to have a CCG, the push began so the B12 Champion could have one more data point. When you are playing the likes of KU, KSU, WVU, TTceh, Baylor (of old and recently), OSU every year, you need a boost.
The additional money was icing on the cake.

The only thing that made me want to stop going (I did not stop) was the visitors seats.
They are on the sideline (facing east/west) and behind the endzone.
Not even with the endzone - behind the endzone.
Ended up watching a game on their big screen one year and vowed to never again buy them through OU ticket office.
Should have been illegal to sell those tickets as seats to a football game.

That's the exact opposite of the four football trips l've made to College Station. And a dozen trips for other reasons. A&M gets made fun of a lot on OU fan sites. It is different. But l've found especially the students to be incredibly friendly. And l know a ton of Aggies.

It is different, and they are different...especially when they are losing. The gap between their hospitality when they are winning compared to when they are losing (or lose) is dramatic.

Been there for more Sooner wins than one Aggie win in 2002. We were undefeated and went home, not. I behaved on the way out.

Well behaved matters not in my experiences. A&M is a better funded and has a stronger following, but same level of success version of Oklahoma State imo.

Young has publicly responded to the allegations.
He said he had received a loan from a "family friend" last summer and it has now been paid back.

A couple of thoughts:
First, very convenient that it happened last summer and the suspension starts when tOSU tries to continue their undefeated streak against Mighty Maryland.
And, just in case a 2 game suspension is in order, next week's tOSU game is against the BIG Powerhouse Rutgers.

Second, he tells in his statement that the person he borrowed the money from has been a "family Friend" since the summer before his freshman year at tOSU.
I'm sure it is a coincidence that this person with money to loan became a "family friend" shortly after he committed to play football for tOSU.
In general, I am a little naive.

So you’re sayin’......what ya sayin’? Bingo, my friend. Very much coincidental indeed. Probably not going any where. And, by the way, screw that “the” crap.
