Did anyone here realistically think OU was a national championship caliber team coming into this season?
I didnt. But I did think OU was a Big 12 Championship caliber team, even with the unknowns and inexperience.
Through 4 games we have seen fight and determination from this team. He have not seen that since about 2009 or 2010.
A lot of you thought going to Knoxville, this team would lose. They played like shit through 3 quarters, offensively, and still pulled out a win....on the road. Tennessee lost to Florida in much the same way.
A lot of you were worried abou WVU, and they fought and grinded out a good win.
Now we have Texas. A very wounded Texas. I dont expect to see a blow out, but i expect to see a win here. Texas seems to fold when hit in the mouth this year.
Anyway, where is your confidence? Your confidence that they can win games, that they can beat TCU and Baylor?
Are those teams going to be easy to beat? Are they going to take a flawless game? Perhaps. But so will games against Texas, Tech, KSU, and OSU.
I can see this team beating all those teams or losing to a couple. But i have found my confidence in this group of young men.
