Look I like Mateer and I think he'd be good here, however, are we so sure that the money going to Mateer (assuming that he enters even though I know it isn't a given) wouldn't be better off being spent on other positions of need. I believe in Mike at QB and I think this system would be awesome for him. Also the development under Arbuckle could be elite. I know going with Mike will probably hurt transfer portal recruiting but can the money saved on mateer make up for it? What do Yall think? Are we overlooking a huge jump up in competition and what that could do to Mateer?
