Since Boren is "alone" in wanting to expand the Big 12, then the question is, what does OU have to gain that other Big 12 teams don't? Is it the fact that OU is the only school that wants the Big 12 to become more competitive and stable? Is UT afraid of making slightly less money due to more schools splitting the money regardless of the LHN? Why has the Big 12 been skeptic on sharing the TV rights expansion clause in the television contracts? Someone help me understand the bigger picture here...
