What do Raptors fans and Longhorn fans have in common?

They both cheer wildly when an opposing star-player goes down.

KD.........Bradford
As much as I don’t like Golden State, cheering when another team’s player gets hurt showcases everything that’s wrong about competitive sports.

In my 25 years in Austin, I have watched only two OU games in general public (not counting Sooner Club games).

The first was the TCU game when Adrian Peterson got hurt and we lost. There was a huge roar of pleasure when Peterson got hurt. Made my stomach turn. And we lost.

Told myself I would never do it again

Then a couple years ago I decided I would risk it again at a Pluckers because, hell, the wings were great, and it was a home game, and we were the prohibitive favorite . . . against Iowa State.

Yeah, so never again.
