So, we all know there are so many parts to this team that will be different. It’s hard to say what I’m MOST excited about, because I think the culture and feel will be pretty amazing- but might be hard to see itself.
S&C changes- that will be visible for sure.
But something I’m really excited to see different is the DB room. It seems like for about the last 7-8 years we have created a DB room where guys have flashes as a freshman, but never really develop (and in some cases, maybe even regress) - only to get beat out in two years by incoming freshmen and the cycle continues.
I’m really excited for there to be true development in the DB room—where kids may not even see the field until at least year two, maybe not even til year 3…
And while there’s no guarantee it will happen, that’s the goal of this staff—and I believe if there’s a defensive staff to get it done, it’s this group.
