We should be rooting for the Pokes to beat the Whorns for recruiting purposes

The pokes beating the shorthorns would be better for recruiting purposes for OU.

If the pokes win, yeah they can try to use the conference championship to recruit but recruits from the state of Oklahoma can just be like "Well, Oklahoma is in the SEC, y'all are in the Big 12"
If the shorthorns win, that conference championship can be used against us for recruits from the state of Texas.

Also if the Pokes win, we can continue to use the "Texas hasn't won a Big 12 championship since 2009 and the Big 12 is much worse than the SEC" argument.
I just struggle to see any benefit from the shorthorns winning on Saturday.
