Tramonda Moore and his teammates played an overmatched opponent last night and Marshall was a bit undisciplined. That said it was easy to see the talent level.
Now for Moore. He’s very big at 6-foot-5, 330-pounds and he wears his weight well. He definitely passes the eyeball test and looks the part. Now his game is not refined. His technique has some rough edges and there were times he got caught out of position. Still he has size, flexibility and overall athleticism that makes his upside very high.
He played both ways at left tackle and defensive tackle and he handled business. He had plays on defense where he flat out blew through double teams. He had others where he held the line of scrimmage and fought off blockers to make the tackle. Then on offense he was light on his feet and he got downfield to make blocks on linebackers and defensive backs from his tackle position.
Overall there are things to work on, but there is also a lot to work with. Against an overmatched opponent he did what would be expected of a guy with his high three-star rating.
