Chance to talk with Jamal Bieniemy for the first time this morning. Strangely enough, he's the only freshman on the team this season.
* Kur Kuath is finishing up summer classes in Salt Lake City. Everything still seems to be on track for him joining the team following that, though.
* Hannes Polla, ICYMI, is with the Finnish nat'l team but will obviously return to OU once that is done:
* You're hearing the words maturity, leadership and defense often when talking what Aaron Calixte and Miles Reynolds are bringing to the table.
* Brady Manek spending a lot of time working in the post vs. Jamuni McNeace, reminding McNeace when he was the young guy and Ryan Spangler was the veteran showing him the ropes.
* Still hoping to talk with Lon Kruger next week but too early to know if that's going to be possible.
