I wouldn't get too caught up on the 6 USC signing just like I wouldn't get too caught up on 14 OU Signings. You can only have 85 Scholarship players, so you don't sign people just sign. We are currently ranked 15th on Rivals, but we are 6th in Average Star Rating. Our ranking is lower due to have a low number of commitments, but they are quality! This is early signing period and there are going to be plenty of Transfer Portal kids (MSU took 20 this past year), along with JUCO players and the signing period in February. Although, I do wish ultimate failure for USC!

Are the Domers on their schedule anytime soon ?
Get 'em early (3rd game). 2nd game is Fresno State which won 9 games this year I think - one of those no bonus if you beat them but can lose situations, especially with the all the kids there with a chip against USC. There are a half dozen 2022 games that are toss-ups - of course would love to see Riley get swept in all of them. He just doesn't have the depth right now to succeed in a 12 game season (Trojans are thinner then their namesake prophylactics). Any stumble out of the gate and his subpar offensive performance at OU this past year will get critically looked at as part of a trend and the honeymoon will be short one. Screw him.

USC has Raleek Brown a 5-star running back that bailed on OU quickly when Riley fled from SEC competition.
He would have been a big addition but Riley's Pied Piper act swayed him to the land of fruits and nuts.
With or without him, OU will be fine.

This is really is surprising. I bet Riley feels like he’s shitting a peach seed tonight.
I went to their 24/7 board and one of the threads was “when should we panic” referring this early signing period and their lack of recruits. I’ll be honest I really thought that Riley would have quite a few top targets flocking to them in this early signing period. He’ll still get recruits but I’m not sure exactly what to make of only signing 6 and I can’t think he’s not a little taken back by that. If I was a USC fan I’d probably be wondering wth right now

Didn't Annie Hanson and her husband (a Tulsa University coach) go to USC with Riley to work on his staff there?

So the weird double down on weirdness, never would have imagined that the oldest story ever has a new age twist
