UGA fans feeling our pain

I've had the chance to talk with a few UGA fans since Monday night and a couple have commented, "Now I know what you guys were feeling when we beat you." Meaning, they too know the frustration of seeing their team winning by double digits at half time, only to see their defense collapse in the second half and let the opponent tie the game and take it to OT, where they lost on a big play.

Today, I spoke to a jackass at the Home Depot about the game and he said, "At least we made it farther than you (OU)." To which I replied, "We both lost and neither one of us is National Champs, so what does it matter?" He just kind of hemmed and hawed for a second and commented how the Rose and MNC game were both outstanding games and Kirby Smart was going to take them to multiple SEC championships. I wished his Dawgs well, but then reminded myself how obnoxious the UGA fans would have been had they beaten Bama. At least Bama's been there and their fans know how to act! Although I was pulling for UGA, I'm not upset in the least that they lost to Bama.

Let em reap it. I am never for an sec team in any game, ever.

He somewhat reminded me of Baker in his ability to buy time.I think he is the QB of their future.Hurts just doesn't see the field and wants to run without looking to see who is open not a knock against him but it is obvious Tua is the better passer.

Hurts had a bad first half against Georgia last Monday, but as a sophomore....especially an Alabama sophomore....his best football may be ahead of him as long as he stays at Alabama.
I'm waiting until September before declaring him a backup. If he doesn't regain his starting role, Saban's young team will have a good backup at QB.

I'm actually a Northside transplant; integration came along just as my junior hi career ended and I bailed. Actual reformation started our Senior year when Hale & BTW exchanged principals, a bunch of teachers and formed a first true magnet school in Tulsa.

When the game started I was lighting leaning towards UGA but as the game went on I wanted Bama to win. I was really pulling for Tua in the 2nd half.

Hey you and me both. I wanted Bama to stomp them from the beginning.

Georgia...Whats there to like????? I say absolutely nothing.

So I was wrong again. I never thought Alabama would win a natty this year, but I had no idea Saban had that kid on the bench. Never been impressed with Hurts for the reasons he showed in the championship game.
