Tulsa has proven they can compete with a competent coaching staff. Their qb was a dumpster fire last year, now he reminds me of the turnaround for Boykin at TCU. It also didn't help that we started a true freshman in the secondary, either. Kudos to their coaching staff for taking risks. (Onside squib)
Look, we made some big ass mistakes in the red zone. Two fumbles that would most likely have ended in TD's. The offense bailed out the defense this week...just like the defense bailed them out last week.
What I did find positive was our ability to run the football at will when we needed to chew up clock at the end.
A week off to get everyone healthy won't suck.
