UPDATE: 2:45p - Hearing word that Oklahoma is on the verge of offering Houston Episcopal defensive tackle Marvin Wilson. In recent days he has picked up Tennessee, Michigan, and USC offers. Oklahoma is getting in when they need to and you all may remember this is a guy I saw last spring and raved about when I went by to see Tyreik Gray.
ORIGINAL: Things starting to pop up here around lunch.
First, I'm told that Oklahoma has offered Highland (Kan.) Highland C.C. linebacker Tyree Horton. As some know, Horton is a Florida State commitment so it will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.
I'm working to confirm the offer but know the Sooners had interest so I fully expect this to be accurate.
Secondly, 2017 Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge linebacker Loren Mondy is on his way to Oklahoma, after pushing back his visit due to the issues of yesterday. He is currently stuck in Dallas traffic but is working his way up I-35.
