Too be honest our free board is full of a bunch of guys who get kicked off our pay board. Even WVU fans avoid our free board. I wish Rivals had an option where you can visit a teams paysite for a few days of the week we play.. We could have some pretty cool discussions
I'll spread the word. We both have hardcore homers but by and large you guys are pretty fun to talk football with without it getting into a personal insult barrage and we have some laid back posters as well. I won't lie, hope we lay the smack down but nothing personal, OU has some awesome folks on the message boards. You represent well on the national board and ive had nothing but great interactionsWell, we've got a free board with great posters. Send your paid members over here.
Let's do this.

Hoping to get a few of the funny/solid guys over here for this week. OU fans have been awesome. Sad alot of the big12/team sites have tumbleweeds blowing across them^^This^^
A solid percentage of posters on our free boards are posters from other teams who like to play "pretend".
Most of our premium membership guys are pretty solid.

They look pretty solid to me. I only visit a few times a year, so I probably don't see what you see.
Don't get me wrong. There are some decent guys. They are just overshadowed by the following :
1. Guys obsessed with Rich Rodriguez
2. One guy who is obsessed with fast QB's running the zone read.
3. A dozen Marshall University guys who have been upset since they almost beat us once.
Vernon, the guy who is running the show, runs a clean business. He definitely gives us our money's worth. The Blue Lot has provided me with years of entertainment outside of the sports coverage. There are some seriously funny people on there.
Oh my, someone has been to Lawton with a Sony...
I thought that was a pic of a Miami home game, damn I'm drunk alreadyNo, that's Baker Mayfield leaving Lubbock to Norman...........HA
What's up Sooners? I'm looking forward to Saturdays match up.
Lots of keys to this one but a few of the obvious to me:
How does our young left tackle handle Striker and Co. coming off the edge?
Will Perine rip us a new one like last season or is the improved WVU defense up to the challenge?
Keep the damage Mayfield does with his feet to a minimum and get some pressure on him.
Looking forward to the battles between Shepard and the outstanding WVU secondary.
Will WVU establish the run?
Will the 2 WVU speed merchants stretch the field?
This one could be a dandy.
Here's your depth chart. That defense is loaded with RS Jr's and Sr's.

Few wvu posers on the free board, marshall and sPitt boys pose as wvu fans.Yep, went over a couple o days ago...got to say, not sensing an abundant amount of optimism up yonder in thine moonshine country.
(that's right, I stereotype everything)

I haven't seen any WVU games this year - or even read any commentary.
Would one of you WVU guys give a brief breakdown of the defensive starters and why they are so highly rated/revered?
I'd like to know the names and numbers of the guys that I shouldn't be surprised to be coming up big on Saturday.
We haven't faced a running back like Perine this year, and I hope that WVU can keep it down to one or two breakaway runs.
Our passing defense is good enough to risk one-on-one coverage to bring the blitz more often than last year. However, Maryland's quarterback was *awful*. Several times I couldn't tell who was his target on the plays where he wasn't getting pressure.
Our QB Howard made a lot of improvements since the debacle bowl game against Texas A&M.
I always rooted for OU over Nebraska and Texas since my uncle was stationed in Lawton. Here's to a good clean game!
Go Mountaineers!
Perine is a beast and it may not show at first but late in the game will be the test, especially if OU has the lead and is trying to run the clock out. Our depth is much better this year so we won't have to rely on tired starters as much. Honestly this game could go either way. Depends on which of our teams show up
Our defense is probably the best you are going to see this year. 4 years ago we played 11 freshmen on defense and they are seniors now.I haven't seen any WVU games this year - or even read any commentary.

LMAO!
JJ. I'm proud to be a redneck..............
As well you should be.
I've only had shine once. Bought a gallon, (18 bucks) a long time ago from the Indians that make it in Cherokee county, (Tahlequah).
They said it was 170 proof. I believe it. It was bad ass. Made some amnesia punch for a 4th of July party in 1978 as I recall.
I felt bad that two of our guests got DUIs going home. Hell, I told them to spend the night!
Geez, people...
The front three of 97 Nwachukwu, 95 Brown and 93 Rose are solid with quality depth behind them for the first time since joining the Big XII. At Linebacker, Nick Kwiatkoski #35 (preseason All Big XII) is a play maker and KJ Dillon #9 is a great athlete and head hunter. CB Daryl Worley #7 is a big kid at 6-2 200 tbs and has NFL written all over him (Mel Kiper seems to love him). At Safety is one of the biggest hitters in CFB #8 Karl Joseph (2014 All Big XII) and 2014 Freshman All American Dravon Askew-Henry #6.
WVU fans are excited about the potential for this defense and the early returns are promising. However, the first big test is this week and I'm anxious to see how they perform on the big stage in Norman.
Did DUIs even count or mean anything in 78? Wasn't that just still drunk tank era?
Perine is a load and he doesn't really get into stride until the second half. The guy has stamina like a dang gazelle.
