The Texas-Kansas State game last Saturday....

Texas scored 9 of its 19 points by way of a punt return and a safety and did not score in the second half. This against a 2-3 K-State team destined for a rebuilding year,
While I realize that Coach Snyder had his team up for Texas, especially playing at home....and that Texas may have been looking ahead to its game with OU....essentially, OU has no excuse to lose this game with Texas.
Regardless, I expect a very close game because Texas always seems to bring extra effort and focus when facing OU. Been that way for 5 straight years, with two OU ambushes.

With our defense I expect this game to be very close. Hopefully we play really well on defense and the offense gets going early in this game.

They weren’t looking ahead, their offense is anemic. Their defense has been sporadic at best. The best thing about the entire team has been their special teams. If we slow them down there, this should be a 30 point blowout.

They’ll play the game of their lives like they always do. It will be close but we have too much fire power on offense.

Their D will be up for our run game. They cannot stop our passing game. Our pass rush D cannot fall into that screen pass trap that they ran so effectively last year. Ehlinger makes bad decisions when pressed. Perkins and Murray needs to impose themselves in the UT backfield. Norwood and Motley needs to step it up. OU 42 - ut 21

Something tells me this game won't be as close as the last four matchups have been. I'm sensing OU could beat Texsa, and pretty soundly at that.
