Whoever scheduled the Big 12 was pretty smart. Think about it. All the best games are coming at the end of the regular season so that each school had 2/3 of the season to get better. This scheduling gives the Big 12 the best opportunity to showcase the conference's best team for consideration to be part of the CFP.
This purposeful back loading of all these key games are fun I suppose, and I really hope OU is the last man standing, but wow, the carnage, the cannibalism of some pretty salty teams in the span of only three weeks is breathtaking.
And then think of the two possible following games if any of the Big 12 gets into the final four.
I'm not sure this is a great idea just because of injuries or dings.......No time to heal.
Excellent point. And the negative part of the schedule is that none of the teams have up to this point played a tough opponent. For example, except for a 2nd division SEC team, OU hasn't played a very good team yet. Akron, Tulsa, Texas, WVU, Kansas, Texas Tech, KSU pretty much suck. K2C, why did you burst my bubble? Dang!
