THE OFFICIAL GAME THREAD - OU vs. Baylor - GAME #10

yes injuries to the DL hurt but the lack of middle linebackers that can fill the whole is what hurts us the most. Evans is terrible at stopping the run tackles way to high and does nothing to fight off of blocks.

Just hate to think of wasting talents like Gallimore and Lampkin because we can't put it all together.

I like the intensity we came out with but the scheme is still flawed.

This qb run gun up the middle reminds of an ISU game under Gibbs. We used to hold them on 1st and seconds down then the QB would just run up the middle for the first

BU can blame t good part of this loss on their OL

9 penalities by BU's OL?????????? All unforced by OU

OU could have won by as many points as Bob wanted Riley's guys to score. Baylor is done. The coaching staff is gone after this season and the young players that got caught up into this mess should get out of Waco now and really shouldn't have to lose a year because of the mess Briles and the administration caused. The boosters are sorry asses and so are those assistant coaches that signed the support letter for Briles. I don't think it's fair to the innocent what's going to happen at Baylor and it's not fair to the B12.

And BTW.... I've been very tough on Jordan Evans all year, but he was pretty special today so I give it up to him. I hope he continues to play well. Crow I will eat when it's appropriate.

The way football is nowadays....with parity and rampant injuries....any win is good regardless of how "ugly" or unimpressive it is.
OU right now is a good example of this. Take a win when you can, try to escape with minimal injuries, and move on to next week against a tough West Virginia team in a hostile environment.
Forget style points and making the four team playoff in the postseason. That stuff will take care of itself.
Right now: just win.

We all talk about how OU should get out of the Big 12......I've been as big a proponent of moving as any fan.....but in some ways being a member has its advantages.....if conference championships turn you on. And they do for a lot of us. But I really believe Bob would have a better chance of getting OU #8 as a member of another conference.

I guess as long as OU plays in a "little league" conference, it might as well dominate it.

I guess but it's sour grapes for us old timers......like you and me. Hey, CT, we probably are going to have settle for the way it is now. Time isn't on our side based on how long it will be before OU could actually leave the conference without paying a big price. TV rights and the such.
