Not being judgemental in stating this, but my loyalty and love of Oklahoma football isn't tied to a hatred of Texas or any team. All I care about is beating Texas and if Texas wins most of its games while losing to OU, so much the better.

This. During bowl season, I readily root for all Big 12 teams except Texas. (That said, I have to hold my nose when pulling for the Pokes but I do it.) You have to remember that Texas vs. OU is a zero sum game. Anything that's good for the Horns is bad for us and vice versa. You also have to remember the unparalleled doucheyness and arrogance of the Texas fan base even when they suck like they have for most of this decade.

As bad as I hated USC in 2005, I wanted them to beat Texas for the NC for the reasons above.

OU knew Texas was a snake when it got into bed with the Texas schools to form the B12. We have no reason to bitch because we got bit. The Big 8 was a better conference than the Southwest and should have just expanded differently without Texas being involved. Now we’re paying for it.
