They say...

Vols fans can make a difference Saturday when Tennessee takes on Oklahoma.

We'll see what happens.

In the article they connect a 1985 Auburn loss to Tennessee with "a host of Volunteer fans that were on their feet all night long."

But have to agree with them on this observation:

The crowd can definitely affect concentration and communication of the opposition. I have seen it too many times. Teams have to waste timeouts when they can’t hear or misunderstand signals. These timeouts are valuable in tight games. And this one will be tight.

We all know that Bob Stoops from time to time has asked Sooner fans to get loud and turn up the crowd noise when playing the biggest games in Norman.

Tennessee fans are very confident they can affect the outcome of this game.
