Run the ball, keep the opponent's offense on the bench and OU's defense rested so that they can shut down their offense. In the second half of last night's game, TCU had four offensive possessions, ran 20 plays, gained 89 yards and scored one TD (scored a second on an INT return) and gave up an INT on their last possession. This pattern, strategy or whatever you call it
worked last week against Baylor and worked again this week against TCU.

In the second half,
OU had six offensive possessions, ran 40 plays and gained 266 yards and scored one TD. Two drives ended on downs, one INT, one fumble, one punt. Had OU been able to sustain one or two more drives (no turnovers) or connect on one or two long passes, they win comfortably. Instead, they cannot finish drives and two turnovers kept TCU in the game. Frustrating.
