2) It was a 12-minute reaction video. It didn’t contain any pertinent information that we have not previously mentioned. You are not missing any insight for having failed to see the video in the few minutes it was somehow accessible on the interwebs.
3) Hopefully this goes without saying, but Jim Knowles’ hiring has NOT been finalized. Nothing is done. That said, one of the brutal realities of this job is that we are always on the clock, and so we often record such videos in anticipation of breaking news just to ensure that we’re not caught out of position with content if/when the news drops. I was in the parking lot of a Lowe’s when the Ben Arbuckle hire became official. The waiting game with these kinds of things can get really obnoxious at times, and we have lives to lead outside of our work.
4) Now that we are aware of the loophole, the odds this ever happens again are basically nonexistent. So for years to come, we can together savor the lore of that one time that Drumm and PT’s Jim Knowles reaction video made it out of the dark recesses of the Internet void to the mainstream for a couple of minutes.

But I’ll direct you back to my update from yesterday in which I stated that several sources have expressed a confidence in the 60-70 percent range. In the 24 hours since, I have not heard anything from said sources that substantially impacts that confidence level, for better or worse.
