Baylor gonna Baylor.

That’s the supposedly derogatory social-media slam that some fans and even media members use when Baylor implodes in a big-game situation. It’s a slam, a dig. The odd thing is, it was Baylor getting away from being the Baylor we’ve come to know that led to a playoff-crushing 44-34 loss to Oklahoma Saturday.

Blackout game? You’ve got that right. Turn out the lights, Waco, the party’s over.

There will be no playoff trip for Art Briles’ Bears. Not this year.

Like it helped them the last two years when Sterling Shepard was out and last year when the de thug late hit Trevor Knight early in the game and broke his collar bone. I concede nothing, they had their rear ends handed to them!

Defense played well and with an attitude. Let's also remember we played against a true Freshman...definitely helped.
No doubt it helped. But hey, injuries happen and those teams just have to accept the consequences. Those are just the breaks, and sometimes the breaks roll your teams way like they did for OU this year. Takes nothing away from OU winning though. It was still a damn tough game.
