Sure will be interested to see to what extent Riley uses the TE as a receiver.
The same way he utilizes Andrews and he will do the same with freshman Calcatera this season.
Andrews has been a Big 12 first team player the past two years and has been a big part of the passing game....and looks to be even more of a weapon this season.
OU now recruits "hybrid" TE's, who can line up as both a wide out or can be used lining up as a normal TE.
This is really what I was referring to in my interest to see. I'd prefer a much more significant, traditional use of the tight end, but I'll certainly take what I can get.

But Riley, like Stoops, wants to stay with the spread formation which means OU's tight ends are of the hybrid type.
That's a 5x5 wall-to-wall and treetop tall good buddy.
