And maybe a little more than a possibility of a trap game.

KState has played Texas close on the road, West VIrginia close and lost to UNC by ten. But the UNC game, played in Kansas City, was tied with 2:10 left and the Tar Heels got a steal for two and a trey, and then made their free throws.

OU at full speed would be a solid favorite and are. But it's not hard to imagine a little letdown after a triple OT loss.

I would think, after losing to the #1 team in the country, on the road, in 3OTs, OU will be seeing red when they tip off.

Being reported on another site, Kruger just received a commitment from a top shooting transfer from tOSU. The coach is amazing......

I hope we don't have a letdown from the Kansas game. IMO this teams success as far as tourney time depends on Cousins. If he plays well we can win it all, if he disappears like the other night we won't. Heild is gonna do his thing and usually Woodard is gonna be solid, but we need a 3rd scorer to step up( preferably a guard)

This team has a lot of heart. I expect a fight from KSU but wouldn't be surprised if we blow them out.

Ohio State freshman Austin Grandstaff has decided to transfer to Oklahoma. The 6-foot-5 guard is a top-50 player out of Texas and was considered one of the top perimeter shooters in the freshman class. :)

Grandstaff is from Rockwall about 25 miles east and a little north of downtown Dallas. Most people thought that OU finished second to tOSU in his recruitment. He can fill it up.

Ohio state fans bashing the kid pretty bad, apparently they feel he was a spoiled brat. Time will tell

I'm glad they're selling out and it's great for the kids, they deserve it, but I was holding out for the Kansas game and now all of the Saturday games are sold out. Single game tickets for the Kansas game were supposed to go on sale the 14th, but they sold out this past week, I believe after the game Monday night. I believe it was part of a 3 game pack. I've taken my family to a couple of games every year for the last 10 or so years, including every Kansas game during that stretch, and there are always a bunch of empty seats, sometimes thousands. Even during Blake's years there were empty seats. We made the two plus hour drive regardless of how good the team was. My point, it sucks to be shutout by the bandwagon OU basketball "fans". Unfortunately for Kruger and the guys, they will likely disappear again next year. Again, happy for the kids, happy for the money for the athletic department, and happy for the improved home court advantage. But sucks for the true supporters.

Twenty-one point lead down to nine at the half. We need to get our focus back.

Buddy sat the last 4+ minutes with a 2nd fould and Sooners played sloppy in that stretch while KState played focused bball and sank some 3s to the tune of a 12-0 run to end the half.

Lot of reserves playing early minutes for OU. Need the experience but it certainly shows when Buddy and Lattin aren't out there.

Absolutely phantom foul called on Buddy for #3 but Sooners still proving they are the superior team increasing the lead back to double digits.

K State beat us twice last year and have always shown they can clamp down on us defensively. We need to keep them at arm's length.

Lead back to 18 in large part to Buddy who now is up to 28 points.

I can't recall a better scoring streak since Steph Curry was filling it up.

Woodard to the locker room for unknown reason. No obvious injury on the court witnessed.

Not on the bench doesn't sound like an injury. If he's gone, we're not going anywhere. We don't rely on him, but Spangler is playing about 40 minutes on a gimpy leg. He's tough, but we need some big man depth. Right now, not too much.

Buddy is on fire. When the team is in a scoring funk, they don't seem to look for Buddy to take charge like one would think.

Cousins can't hit the broad side of the barn and Woodard has gone cold.

Good thing we had that big run in the first half because we've been pretty sloppy for long stretches. Cousins seems to turn the ball over an awful lot.

Glad this game isn't closer as we've missed the front end of three straight one and ones.

Those guys are gassed.
I know they can't all be like Buddy but he's not playing gassed. He did, though, have a breather for like the final 5 minutes of the 1st half. Even more reason to give him the ball in tough times. His FG % is ridiculously good and not just this game.

The point is, he's our star. He's hitting everything he throws up to the basket. Our shooting went cold for stretches even with him on the court and the ones who were extremely off their game kept throwing up poor shots. Buddy, the proven better option, was not being fed like stars always are.

Just sayin'.

Woodard cold?

I don't think so. He made the big key baskets down the stretch.

Cousins is in a shooting funk be we haven't done anything strategically to help him out of it. All his shots are him having to force one up late in the shot clock with a hand in his face.

..."down the stretch" is the key to your post. After he returned and until that time, he was momentarily freezing cold.

As for your comment on Cousins, balderdash! I trust my eye over yours. I'm sure you feel likewise about yours.
