1. I think backs should be fairly similar, maybe a bit more straight line guys, one cut types, etc.
WR, no question you're going to see bigger more vertical guys.
OL, I don't expect to see any big changes, I also think QB mobility is probably more important than it was under Riley but that's a marginal gap IMO.
2. I think you're just going to see less reliance on height/weight as a pillar of the decisions coaches are making. I think the most CLEAR difference will be along the DL where you're going to see bigger bodies.

I mean in a perfect world, sure but who is going to compete with Dillon Gabriel when Jaxson Dart didn't want to? And if it's just a depth guy...what difference does it make?
1. It would have to be Bama landing guys they prefer and Collins not feeling like a priority. I don't see OU winning a head up battle with Alabama for an in-state guy. In short? OU will need some help.

I think that will be interesting as the scheme has never really lived in a world where it's line talent was capable of being on part with just about anyone. It's a legitimate concern though, there's just no question.

1. To me it's about how you buy into Sark. I think Ewers has all the required talent - I wonder a bit about his maturity/leadership based on some decisions he has made but if Sark can point him right, he'll AT LEAST be very good IMO.
2.
OL play/depth - They are in a bad spot at tackle if Harrison, Byrd, and Morris don't get it figured out, fast.
Pass rush - Redmond returns but there's not a lot else that has proven itself capable of coming off the edge and being dangerous.
Playmakers - I can't believe it's a question at OU but they don't have the gamewinners at WR, RB, etc. that we've seen through the last 7-8 years.
*Might have something in WOKE...

2. I think for some guys that's what it is but I also think some think OU was Nebraska but with Lincoln Riley. Add in heading to the SEC and some are just convinced they can't compete. Now if you ARE the pick it can help but it's not usually a big negative unless they are pretty familiar - teammates, etc.

1. I’ve been trying to get my mind wrapped around the difference in recruiting philosophies between the old and new coaching staff. Would it be fair to say that Riley was more concerned about the “cool” factor of a recruit - national following, prestigious school, right part of the country, ranking - and that tended to get him into trouble? Maybe it’s a bit of revisionist history on my part, but it seemed like Riley was just as much interested in a kid’s Q factor as he was his ability to help the team. And BV doesn’t care about any of that.
2. USMNT in trouble with Weston out for the next window? Should probably get Gio back but maybe not at full speed.
