Crazy to think about but I remember about 12-13 years ago how OU couldn't get over the hump because of lack of talent, going after low 4 stars and 3 stars. Then during the Riley era we go and land high 4 stars and even 5 star kids. But now we're back to square 1 not paying up for elite talents in recruiting, Instead we're looking for diamond in the rough players like bob was doing before. I wonder how this same model will work this time around? I personally think its a recipe for disaster and I'm not saying go land 5 guys in the top 50 but at least try to land 5 top 100 kids. This three star shii ain't gonna cut it man just being real.
