You're probably right. But it would be very interesting if Ole Miss went undefeated in SEC conference games and then won the CCG. Memphis didn't just beat them last week. They kicked their butts.
I disagree with you about Iowa. If they win out, they're in. Just not many of us who believe that will happen. I'd think UHouston or UMemphis would have a chance to be in, if they were undefeated and nobody else was. The Rebels won at Alabama but lost at Memphis. The Tigers have a legit chance to be undefeated. If they are, they do have a chance.
I do believe that OU has a chance to make it, but beating TCU and winning atBaylor and at OSU back to back to back would be a tall order. If the Sooners pull it off, I cannot imagine being left out no matter what happens elsewhere. I don't think many of us think the chances of that are one out of four, or maybe not even one out of ten. But if it happens it would be a pretty solid resume despite the RRR embarrassment.
There are interesting scenarios. I don't think it's out of the question that Michigan State loses another game before they play Ohio State. If they do, and lose to tOSU, then Michigan would go to the CCG by winning out, which would include a home win against the Buckeyes. That would help the XII.
I'm not sold on Stanford or Utah, but if either wins out, they're likely in. Obviously, Utah would be in. The ACC is going to be interesting, and ND would be a pretty good one loss team if they win out. I'd like to see the Irish lose again. But I don't think we'll have much true focus about this until a week before Thanksgiving, most likely. And the scenarios in the Big Ten are so multiple, that their complexities leave a lot left to be decided.
Everybody keeps bashing Ohio State, and then voting them first.[/QUOTE
The Big 12 will not be left out this year unless something goes really wrong. Sooners just need to WIN OUT.
