It seems the members of this forum believe the OU coaches were shocked that Alexander declared. As many people on these boards claim to be huge insiders with sources and love to "break news", I'd be shocked if there wasn't at least some smoke on here leading up to his announcement. I'm not going into details, but his decision might not have been one sided, it might not have been his decision, and it might have involved an issue that came up very near the Clemson game. Based on a text I got the morning of the game I didn't expect him to suit up.
